Just returned from a fab holiday in the Seychelles. We stayed at a family villa with own pool and our vacation was seamless from start to end. In brief, amazing experience in the resort with plenty to do for each member of our family of 4 and together.

We were very well looked after by all staff who were friendly and helpful. Our original package was HB but we were upgraded too FB on arrival. The hotel sprays a whole area daily so no problem at all. Our villa was ready at 10 am and on the last day we were allowed to keep it to on a complementary basis. Master bedroom suite was huge taking the whole floor with large bathroom. - each room had an Apple TV and internet keyboard so you can view your pictures and videos - all other amenities in good supply. - our villa was cleaned several times a day - fresh towels all the time and towel creatures left for us to admire :) All thanks to Dipey, our villa attendant.

Kids had bedroom each (one double and one with two single beds). - we received a welcome fruit basket and a bottle of wine as well as daily afternoon snacks. Also a hat and a polo shirt with the hotel logo.- few minor problems with villa were dealt swiftly by staff as soon as we reported them- we asked to empty both minibars so we can put own bottles and cans bought at a local shop off North entrance. We would have a drink before dinner as wine or beer at a restaurant were expensive. - the staff were very nice and polite, always said hello.

Jawadu, our villa host was lovely and help with various queries.- on my birthday, the hotel sent me a birthday cake which was a delicious treat. Area:- hotel grounds are huge so suggest using bikes or go by buggy.   - there are several tortoises by main reception and feeding time is at . - my husband did a couple of walks - trails can be found in a hotel brochure.  

Make sure you have good shoes or trainers as rocks are slippery.- if you are a fan of Russian version of Love Island reality show, you can visit the island where they film it crossing the water during low tide ( reception gave us tide info for a whole month). Suggest doing it off Adam and Eve restaurant as shortest route. We had a short conversation with one of the cast members.- go to Helipad area and you will see a beautiful view of the South beach.

A must for photos.- Zip line was great fun, highly recommend. Be careful of rocks and carry plasters on you in case slip. They take you to presidential villa where the experience starts, take your camera as views are spectacular.

They give you a bag so you can put it away when on a zip line. Restaurants:- highly recommend Lobster night at Seselwa on Mondays. Extra fee.- enjoyed Seselwa for breakfast (plentiful) but they have a real issue with service at lunch - takes forever. I had to wait 10 min for menu, 20 min for drinks and 35 min to get food. One day kids waited 30 min with no service and gave up. We delivered feedback to hotel management at drinks and service improved the following day although it was our last lunch before departure.- Cabana - beach bar was ok, long wait too. Food is served in takeaway boxes, so you can take it to you sun bed or room.- Adam and Eve - nice Asian cuisine - Helios - our favourite - great selection of Mediterranean cuisine- Corossol - excellent buffet with huge selection of food. Very impressed.- did not try Cyann but went there for management drinks- kids under 12 menu everywhere if your children do not want fancy food.

North beach- gorgeous, pristine sand and water and much better than South, calm with little breeze - if swimming, try to stay in the middle area of the beach as there are rocks in sand and I got some bruises from stones if near sides of the hills. - Snorkelling was ok but you need to swim towards the cross and beyond. Also we went on a snorkelling tour just for our family booked with independent people on the beach (£100 cheaper than hotel own) and enjoyed 3 hours visiting nearby marine park and beaches.
